At ACME Technical Services, safety comes first. We prioritize the well-being of our team, clients, and the public. Our commitment to a strong safety culture has earned us the COR® Workplace Safety Certification in Manitoba, with high audit ratings. We are also safety-compliant across much of eastern and western Canada.
Workplace Safety Standards
We follow and exceed the safety requirements outlined by the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Act and Regulations, and other applicable provincial regulations (when working outside of Manitoba). To maintain a safe work environment, we:
- Implement a Safety Management System with employee input.
- Hold regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Establish, update, and enforce Safe Work Practices and Safe Job Procedures.
- Provide occupational hygiene and safety education.
Reporting Hazards
Safety is a shared responsibility, and all employees are expected to:
- Report hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately
- Exercise the right to refuse work if safety is compromised
- Participate in inspections and the creation or review of safety procedures
- Suggest improvements to equipment or procedures to enhance workplace safety
Training
